The Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme

Bounce Arrow

The Government’s Project Gigabit programme aims to bring full fibre broadband to areas struggling with slow and unreliable broadband connections, aiming to connect even the most remote areas of the UK to ultra-speedy home and business broadband.

The Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme helps us provide homes and businesses across Neyland, Haverfordwest, Pembroke, Pembroke Dock, and Rhoose with a full fibre broadband connection, at no risk or additional cost.

What’s the Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme all about?

Here’s the deal: if you’re a resident or a business owner, you’ll get funding worth up to £1,500 (for residents) or £3,500 (for businesses) to put towards the costs of setting up a gigabit-capable broadband network right to your doorstep.

To jump on board, simply pledge your voucher to our project and sign up for a service that’s at least double your current internet speed. This helps us pool resources to build a top-notch full fibre network for your community.

How it works:

  1. Pledge Your Voucher: Check if your postcode qualifies, pledge your voucher, and sign up for a package that doubles your current speed.
  2. Confirmation: The Department of Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport will reach out to confirm your pledge.
  3. We Build, You Connect: We’ll handle the design, construction, and maintenance of your new network. Our aim? Get you hooked up within 12 months of getting your voucher.
  4. Claim Your Voucher: Once you’re connected, we’ll claim the voucher funds to help cover the costs.

Just keep in mind, we need a minimum number of pledged vouchers to make each project happen. It’s all about making sure we can bring gigabit broadband to your area without breaking the bank.
