Wales’s fastest growing broadband company, and one of the “21 great Welsh firms to watch in 2021”, has selected Nokia as a key technology partner as they look to bring full fibre connectivity to over 150,000 homes in south Wales.

The first three “active cabinets” containing the Nokia equipment will go live during August starting in Haverfordwest in Pembrokeshire on the 16th of August closely followed by Rhoose in the Vale of Glamorgan and Abergavenny in Monmouthshire.

Nokia will enable the future scalability for Ogi networks, meaning that customers will receive a future-proofed connection. The support Nokia plans to offer Ogi and their customers will allow Ogi to continue connecting customers to a real fibre network, allowing for an ultrafast, ultra-reliable real fibre broadband connection for homes and businesses across south Wales.
