Croeso and welcome to the world of hassle-free wifi. Getting connected has never been easier. Simply download the app, plug your eero device into your modem, and let the app guide you through the setup process in no time.

Need a little extra help? Whether you’re a newbie or just need a quick refresher, this guide will help you explore the basic features to effortlessly set up and manage your eero. Let’s dive in and get you online.

Create your account

On your Ogi install day, our helpful engineers will be on hand to show you how to set up an account and connect to our network. But, just show you how easy the account setup is, here’s a sneak peak!

Step 1

Open the eero mobile app and tap the New to eero? button.

Step 2

Log in with your existing Amazon account or create a new eero account with your email or phone number.

Step 3

If you're creating a new account, enter the verification code sent to you by text or email.

Add an eero device

Our engineer will make sure your eero device(s) are set up on the day, but if you add more later.

Step 1

From the Home tab, tap + in the top right.

Step 2

Tap Add or Replace an eero Device.

Step 3

Tap Add eero Device.

Step 4

Plug in your new eero device to an outlet and tap Next.

Step 5

Once your new eero device is recognised, choose a location for your device.

Step 6

Tidy. The device is now added. Tap Finish Setup, or select Add Another eero Device to add additional devices.

Create profiles

Here’s where things get interesting! With eero’s built in Profiles feature, you can create custom schedules, control online access and add content filters to different devices in the home. Giving you that added peace of mind.

Step 1

Tap on the + in the top right.

Step 2

Select Add a Profile from the pop-up menu.

Step 3

Add a profile name.

Step 4

Select which devices to add to the profile.

Step 5

Tap Done.

Guest network

Want to keep things extra safe? Why not set up a Guest network for your home?

Step 1

Tap on Settings tab.

Step 2

From the menu, select Guest Access.

Step 3

To enable your guest network, toggle Guest Access to On.

Pausing wifi devices

Sometimes we need a little down time. You can easily pause your wifi for specific profiles or devices. You can even set schedules for this to happen, bedtime for little ones for example?

Step 1

From the Home tab, tap the profile or device for which you want to set a schedule.

Step 2

Select Add a Scheduled Pause.

Step 3

Update the schedule name, start time, end time, and frequency for the scheduled pause, then tap Save.

Data Usage

Keep an eye on data usage across your wifi network. You can take a deeper dive into devices and profiles.

Step 1

From the Activity tab, tap Downloaded Data to view the overall wifi data usage.

Step 2

Tap Show Live Usage to view current wifi data usage.

Step 3

Tap the X in the upper left corner to go back.

Speed test

Need to run a quick speed test? Easy! You can do that right in your eero app.

Step 1

From the Activity tab, tap a tile on the Internet section.

Step 2

Tap Run Speed Test.

Update password

Easily update and change your wifi network password.

Step 1

From the Settings tab, select Wifi password.

Step 2

Tap Edit password to change your password.

Step 3

Enter your new password, and tap Save.

Software update

It’s important to make sure that your wifi network is always up to date.

Step 1

From the Settings tab, select Software updates.

Step 2

Tap Install Now.

Step 3

Tap Yes, update now to update your system.

Notifications

Stay up to date with notifications for your eero app that you can manage inside your app.

Step 1

From the Settings tab, select Notifications.

Step 2

Customise notifications to suit you

eero Built-in

With eero Built-in and certain Echo devices, you can add up to 1,000 sq. ft of coverage! This includes Amazon Echo Dot devices too! Spread them around your home to help the super-cool mesh technology spread the wifi to every room.

Step 1

From the Discover tab, select Amazon Connected Home.

Step 2

Tap Connect to Amazon and login using your Amazon account. Compatible Echo devices currently on your network, as well as any added later, will automatically extend your wifi.

Step 3

To manage eero Builtin devices, go to the Connected Home menu and toggle select devices on or off.
